Bayview is a town in Cameron County, Texas, United States. The population was 383 at the 2010 census. It is part of the BrownsvilleHarlingen Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Bayview is a peaceful community situated on the Resaca de Los Cuates; which winds 62 miles from southeast of San Benito, northeast to its mouth on the Laguna Madre; with citrus groves, crop fields and ranchettes.  Bayview has a Mayor and Board of Alderman, who meet the third Thursday of every month at the Bayview Town Hall, 104 S. San Roman.  The Los Fresnos Volunteer Fire Department has located one of their stations on the Bayview Town Hall property, making fire response time more efficient.  The town of Bayview has building standards and zoning ordinances, so please click on Ordinances under Categories and check out the permit and building requirements, or, better yet, visit the Town Office.
